Need

The composite skins of the ESL rockets are 5 m long with a 200 mm diameter, too large for the machine the society has. RadFA is meant to make them.

Architecture

Three stepper motors, controlled by an ESP32-S3, turn the mandrel and move the roller carriage. Simplified CAD in Fusion 360.

I designed the first version of the control board.
